SUPERillu is the most widely read consumer magazine in the eastern German states, absolutely dominant with a record penetration of 22.1 % in its circulation area. Other current opinion-forming magazines have a clear deficit in eastern Germany. For example, SUPERillu reaches 32% more readers than Der Spiegel, Focus, Stern and BUNTE together.

The high response to our editorial topics speaks for our readers’ tremendous attachment to "their illu". That’s our secret to success, i.e. we report for the East Germans, not about them. A single booking in SUPERillu reaches 3.47 million readers from all age groups.
